Searching "Epson WorkForce WF-2960 driver" turns up a lot of third-party download aggregator sites. Some are harmless, but many use a specific deceptive pattern worth knowing: a large, prominent "Download" button that's actually an ad for an unrelated program — often a browser extension or a separate "driver finder" tool — positioned exactly where you'd expect the real driver download to be.
The tell: check the domain in your address bar before clicking anything. If it's not epson.com/support, you're not on Epson's site, regardless of how official the page looks or how many Epson logos it uses.
