Epson's inkjet technology uses genuinely liquid ink through very fine nozzles, which can dry out and clog faster than some competing technologies if a printer sits unused for more than a couple of weeks — this applies across all three series, including EcoTank. If you print infrequently, printing something small every week or two is the simplest way to avoid this becoming a recurring issue.
